I think that Jesus reacted as any of us would have if we witnessed such an outrageous event. The Temple; the house of God, was the holiest place in the city and was desecrated by the vendors. I think that this story just gives the point that people can be ignorant to the major aspects of life without blinking an eye. The fact that Jesus became outraged shows us that there is a limit to how much of our nonsensical activity God will tolerate. He stood up and took action to put a stop to the madness taking place in the house of God.
